Sam Benson

Sam is one of the newest additions to the CODS committee, and she’s already making her mark as our fabulous Social Secretary. With boundless energy, a warm smile, and a talent for planning a great social, Sam is the driving force behind the events that bring us together off-stage.

Whether it’s organising quiz nights, cast socials, or celebratory post-show drinks, Sam makes sure the CODS community stays connected, supported and well-fed. She’s the glue between rehearsals, bringing fun, friendship and the occasional round of karaoke to the heart of the society.

Sam might be new to the committee, but she’s already a firm favourite, known for her can-do attitude, creative flair, and love of a good party playlist.

Fun facts about Sam:

• Has a sixth sense for locating the nearest Prosecco deal within a 5-mile radius.

• Can turn any social event into a themed extravaganza (whether you want it to be or not).

• Owns more fancy dress than actual dress.

• Has been known to suggest “just one drink” after rehearsal… which somehow turns into five and a group rendition of Defying Gravity.
