Laura Bishop

Laura is the friendly face behind the scenes making sure everyone feels at home at CODS. As our Membership Secretary, she’s the go-to person for anything and everything to do with joining (or rejoining!) the society – from sign-ups and subscriptions to making sure everyone knows what’s happening and when.

She keeps our records in tip-top shape, chases the payments we all forget about, and helps new members feel instantly part of the CODS family. Whether you’re stepping into your first rehearsal or back for your tenth show, Laura is always there with a smile (and a chase with the card payment reader)

Her mix of organisation, kindness and a brilliant sense of humour makes her an essential part of the team.

Fun facts about Laura:

• Laura has directed twice, choreographed twice, done props, front of house, DSM’d twice, and handled costumes – but absolutely will never stage manage (sorry, Dave).

• She’s been involved in every CODS Youth Show as part of the production team, a cornerstone of calm competence behind the scenes – and yes, she gets new stationery for every show.
